Who We Are
Watsonville Prep School began its journey in August 2019. Our school was approved by the State Board of Education after a significant demand from the local community, including more than 200 families expressing their interest in enrolling their children.
Exceptional Learning at New Campus
In 2021, Watsonville Prep School moved into its new permanent location in the old Gottschalks department store building at 407 Main Street, downtown Watsonville. This relocation marked a significant milestone, allowing the school to serve up to 565 students across TK-7 grades in a state-of-the-art facility. The new campus features 19 classrooms, a media center, gym, food service room, and outdoor play spaces, embodying the school's commitment to providing an exceptional learning environment.
Watsonville Prep's establishment and growth reflect its dedication to offering high-quality education and its commitment to the Watsonville community. Our school's approach to inclusive education, where students of all abilities learn together, emphasizes its mission to provide an equitable educational experience for all.
