  • Teachers in Training receive valuable practical classroom experience, while receiving theoretical expertise through enrollment in a credentialing program (outside of Navigator). Teachers in Training are supported and coached in the Navigator model, will be prepared to transition to a classroom teacher role and deliver an exceptional educational experience to every child that walks through our doors.

Teachers are coached weekly to constantly improve their practice, use technology on a daily basis in Navigator’s cutting edge blended educational program, build and promote critical thinking skills, and maintain strong relationships with students in order to deliver an exceptional educational experience.

  • The Full Inclusion Coach at Navigator Schools supports Full Inclusion Instructors in special education plan implementation, behavior strategies, and curriculum accommodations. Responsibilities include coaching sessions, collaborating on student accommodations, onboarding instructors, and working with diverse learners. Ideal candidates have experience in special education and excellent collaborative skills.

  • The Full Inclusion Instructor at Navigator Schools is responsible for facilitating special education learning in the classroom, working collaboratively with staff and students. They uphold the Navigator school culture, creating learning opportunities for all students. Job duties include supporting special education students under guidance, implementing behavioral and instructional methodologies, and accommodating specific student needs through specialized activities and goals.

  • The Learning Loss Paraprofessional at Navigator Schools supports students individually or in small groups with teacher-assigned instruction. Key responsibilities include providing behavioral and instructional support, supervising students in various settings, and actively participating in professional development. This role requires a deep commitment to student achievement and upholding the Navigator school culture.

  • The Small Group Instructor (SGI) at Navigator Schools facilitates learning in the classroom through collaboration with teachers and students. The SGI is responsible for teaching small groups, leading interventions for targeted students, and discussing student progress with teachers. They also perform supervisory duties and assist special needs students, embodying the Navigator school culture through high expectations and commitment to student achievement.

  • The Tier 3 Support Paraprofessional at Navigator Schools is integral in facilitating positive student behavior and learning. They work with teachers and students, focusing on students demonstrating learning or behavioral challenges. Responsibilities include direct support under the guidance of specialists, implementing behavioral and instructional methods, and supporting students in various settings, emphasizing student success and upholding school culture.
