UC/CSU Neurodiversity
The goal of the UC/CSU Collaborative for Neurodiversity and Learning is to dramatically improve literacy for all children, particularly those with reading challenges such as dyslexia. Their website provides a collection of resources related to literacy (e.g., podcasts, magazine articles, and training modules.) The rationale for this bill was that it will help and acknowledge students with neurodivergence, which is a spectrum of differences in brain function and behavioral traits encompassing conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, and more.
